Aerosys has permanently closed. This is the replacement. It is custom built to fit the same 36" W x 19" H sleeve you already have, on the same 208-230V single-phase service, charged with R-454B rather than the phased-out R-454B. A 2.0-ton thru-wall condensing unit engineered as a direct drop-in for the Aerosys TTWC-R24P21, TTWC-R24P21LX, AboveAir VCU-C-024-1-X, and VCU-C-024-1-S. Specs match point-for-point: standard 36" W x 19" H NYC wall sleeve, 208-230V/1Ph power, R-454B refrigerant, identical physical mounting pattern. If one of those units has gone out in your building, this replaces it without touching the existing sleeve or refrigerant lines.

2.0 tons / 24,000 BTU is the most commonly needed size for NYC apartments, it cools roughly 700 to 1,000 square feet, which covers the typical one-bedroom living room, open-concept loft bedroom, or medium corner studio. The fan motor is rated at 0.25 HP / 1500 RPM, within the noise profile co-op boards typically accept for exterior-facing units on residential floors. NYC approved for the standard 36" x 19" opening, so straight replacements in existing sleeves generally do not require new DOB filings.
