Same 36" W x 19" H NYC wall sleeve footprint, same 208-230V/1Ph electrical service, same R-410A refrigerant. It fits into the existing opening without modifying the sleeve, the facade, or the refrigerant lines already routed to the apartment’s indoor air handler.

At 1.5 tons / 18,000 BTU, this is the right size for bedrooms, studios, and smaller one-bedrooms in the 400 to 700 square foot range — the most common apartment size across the NYC rental and co-op market. Building engineers replacing individual condensers floor-by-floor tend to keep 1.5-ton units in the highest rotation because that is what the majority of apartments actually need.
